Lingaa released in 3
Languages which includes telugu and hindi. All the 3 languages tamil, telugu
& hindi versions are released on the occasion of Super star Birthday, today.
Many of the Thalaivar fans started to call it as Lingaa day Decemeber 12, 2014.
Lingaa Starring Super
Star RajiniKanth, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha. It was directed by
K.S.Ravi kumar. Rajini is touted to play dual role in this film. A. R. Rahman
Composed tunes for this film While Cinematography was handled by R. Rathnavelu.
After the several
issues faced by Lingaa now its cleared everything by deposit 10cr by the
producer in Court for the settlement of story theft issue..
Lingaa is all about
building a dam in a village region. Rajini plays dual role in the film, as an
engineer Raja who wants to build a dam in a region to solve peoples problems
and as Raja’s grandson Linga.
Anushka who belongs to
the village finds Lingaa. She bring him to the village and Linga plans to rob a
temple in that village. In that time he knows about the problems faced by the
peoples over there and then decides to finish his duty, how he does that is the
rest of the plot.
As like all Rajini
movie, a complete one man show. Rajini was at his best, his energy levels and
dialogue delivery will be a treat for his fans, his getup looked odd on screen
for few scenes, but leaving the film’s fate aside Super star’s performance
especially in Raja’s role is superficial and Lingaa’s role boost up the power
pack style performance. Anushka was nice looking but somewhere styling was
mismatch for her, Sonakshi sinha, a newbie in south films, was misfit in the
role. And she seems not comfortable with the local language.
was pale, Santhanam entertained at places, there were many artists on
screen including Jagapathi Babu, none of them created impact on the film.
The movie is directed
by KS Ravikumar. Music by AR Rehman was nice, Mona Mona song were very much
impressive, BGM is also upto mark, a lot was expected from him especially after
Shivaji and Robo.
Cinematography by Ratnavelu
is good. Editing Samjith not up-to the mark.
The impressive story
scripted by KS Ravikumar in collaboration with the film's dialogue writer Pon
Eros International had bought the film from
Rockline Venkatesh for Rs.200 crore (US$32 million),
which includes theatrical and overseas rights for all languages. The satellite
rights of the film were purchased by Jaya TV for Rs.32 crore (US$5.2 million)
movie also releasing in United Kingdom, Canada, Australia on 12 December 2014.
Releasing over 5,000 screens all over the world.
Except Rajini style,
Linga has nothing to offer new. Routine story and the same action packs. Well it’s
a power-pack entertainer, but fails to full fill the high expectation for a birthday

Action Jackson – A movie
with zero sensibility. Ajay Devgan, who looks too disinterested to pull off
this film's idiotic requirements, is in a double role here, although the parts
are barely distinguishable. He plays Vishy, a Mumbai goonda who can vanquish
over a dozen rivals singlehandedly. He also plays AJ, a hitman-for-hire in
Bangkok, who can slice and dice an army of enemies without breaking into a
sweat. In the hands of a better filmmaker, this might have been an interesting
device, but Prabhudeva plays it mostly for laughs.
At one point, both men must
switch places, which expectedly leads to humorous scenarios.Sonakshi Sinha is cast
as a presumably educated woman with a corporate job, who becomes obsessed with
seeing Vishy naked because - believe it or not - she's convinced it brings her
good luck. Wait, it gets worse. Manasvi Mamgai is Marina, who, when we first
see her, is about to be raped by the villain. Drugged and bound, she's turned
on by the sight of a shirtless AJ when he storms in to rescue her! There's also
Yami Gautam as AJ's fiancée, who in one of the film's most disturbing scenes,
is repeatedly punched in the face by a hulking bad guy. All this in shocking
This film is really an
orgy of bloody fight scenes punctuated by too many tuneless songs, and some
juvenile gags that might amuse a six-year-old. My heart went out to poor Kunal
Roy Kapoor, so good in Delhi Belly, but wasted here as Vishy's comic sidekick.
In one scene, he farts in the face of a man who's about to sip his tea, causing
a storm in his teacup...quite literally. It's the least offensive bit in a film
that assaults your senses and leaves you feeling battered and bruised.

Mohanlal, the actor who
stunned the fans and media with his decision to do only three movies per year,
has reportedly decided to sign the projects which will have a budget above 10
crores. The closest sources of the actor say that the he is not so keen on
doing low budget movies.
Mohanlal starrers have absolutely no issues in getting producers, as the movies
have a fixed satellite right rate and minimum guarantee at the box office. But
the actor’s decision will be a big blow for the debutant film makers and small
scale production houses, who aspire to work with him.
Mohanlal has been taking some vital decisions regarding his career from last
few months. The actor has reportedly decided to trade the television rights of
all his upcoming movies to Amrita TV. He has also decided to be selective about
the movies he pick and is planning to release his movies only for festival
seasons. Mohanlal is currently filming for Sathyan Anthikad’s untitled upcoming
flick, in which he will pair up with Manju Warrier. The movie produced by Mohanlal’s
close associate Antony Perumabavoor, is planned with a budget of 8 crores.
Another upcoming flick of the actor, Lailaa O Lailaa, is executed in a budget
of 9 crores.

romantic-comedy which tells the story of the title character Mathai, played by
Mathai has a tendency
to interfere in other's life. Bhama essays the female lead opposite Jayasurya
in the movie. Mukesh and Laksmi Gopalaswamy appears in pivotal roles.
Mathai is an innocent
good-hearted auto driver who hails from Thrissur. He has a tendency to
interfere in other people's life knowingly or unknowingly. He intents to help
people; but usually gets into trouble. Somehow it relates with the character played
by Jayasurya in Janapriyan movie. But story wise this movie is much differ from
Janapriyan. Mathai’s fiance (Bhama) is a nurse. Mathai enters the lives of Dr
Nandakumar (Mukesh) and his wife Geetha (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy), thus toppling
their family life upside down. This leads to some hilarious incidents and rest
of the movie revolves around this characters. Performance Analysis
As usual Jayasurya

Mukesh, as Dr
Nandakumar strikes again with his humour sense and acting skills. Bhama, as Mathai's
fiance, show great improvements in her acting skills and looks completely fit
for the role.
Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, as
Nandakumar's wife Geetha performs her role to near perfection. Sreejith Ravi, as
a dance master, deserves a special applause for his amazing performance. Rest
of the cast did complete justice to their respective roles.
Script And Direction
backbone of the movie is a not-so-engaging script written by director Akku
Akbar, which has nothing new to say. As a usual kind of story reveals the
innocents of some peoples. The repetitive theme is narrated with small
improvisations in the movie. But the director succeeds in bringing the best out
of the actors. The performance of the lead actors is the saving grace of the
movie. Pradeep Nair's cinematography is above average. Lijo Paul's editing is
not upto standards, as the movie fails to engage the audience at certain
points. Music and Background Score Anand Madhusoodanan's background score is
impressive; but the songs are just average. Anto Joseph produces the movie
under Anto Joseph Film Company.
A usual age old theme,
but in certain point of view it will bags appreciation from views for the fabulous
performances of actors.
Box Office Verdict
A big completion need
to face, over 4 different style of movies released same day. In all the movie
will bags more family audience. Expecting a good run in box office.
Mylanchi Monjulla Veedu
directed by debutante Benny Thomas. This movie is under family entertainer

an orthodox Muslim joint family. Madhu as the Soya Sahib is the head of the

religions are not welcome there. There is a reason behind this decision. The
enmity between Soya Sahib's elder son Siddique as Kazim Bhai and SaiKumar as
Narayana Kurup led to a blood shed, and critically injured Kasim Bhai was later
paralysed. Jayaram as Dr Madhavan Kutty will be brought to treat Kasim Bhai,
with the fake identity Dr Mammootty, by Asif Ali as Anwar, Kasim Bhai's nephew.
Madhavan Kutty falls in love with Kasim Bhai's elder daughter Kaniha as Wahida.
Then there is some crazy problems occurs in their life. Left of the story tells

A well packed suspense
thriller from a debutant director , Jean Markose. It keeping the viewers
engaged with suspense not revealed till the finishing stages of a film. Mostly
revolving around murder mysteries and making such kind of movies is not much an
Jean Markose, a
debutant through Angels try to attempt and present such a murder mystery in a
nice way and he absolutely successful in his first attempt itself. However the
movie has taken some kind of inspiration from Jeethu Joseph's Memories in the
story revolves around cracking of the cemetery murder case through a live TV
crime and investigative show titled 3rd Eye in a popular channel Views 24×7.
The show hosted by Asha Sarath as Haritha Menon brings Indrajith Sukumaran as Hameem
Haider who investigated the case first and had to leave it midway due to
certain mysterious circumstances. The movie focus on the revealing of the case
and bringing the true picture behind a series of murder that shocked the people
and police force.
As so many recent
movies, Indrajith made his presence on screen nicely. But as Hameem Haider ,
Indrajith did not had a meaty role to play.
Asha Sharath as a TV anchor
Haritha Menon was a good in her role and Joy Mathew as the priest (named
Brandhan Kathanaar) did his role nicely.
And all other supporting casts like Baiju as SP Ashok Kumar, Prem Prakash as
Head of Production,Vijayakumar as Inspector Poly, Lakshmi priya chandramouli as
Zaina, Parvathy menon, Dinesh Paniker, Aneesh G Menon, Baby Anni, Tharakalyan
all are good and perfectly hold the suspence till the end.
Jean Markose has done a
great job on his debut attempt in the directorial department. Jakes Bejoy done music
scene and his background score was something notable that gave the feel for
each and every scene. Cinematography by Sujith Sarang was also well handled and
edits by Sreejith Sarang were convinced to make an impressive impact on
viewers. Screenplay Written by Jean Markose, Toni Tomy and Dialogues by Shabu
Kilithatil is the backbone of this movie.
The movie is produced
by Linu Issac, Hisham Basheer, Saju Azad, Maya Kartha under Cloud4Cinema
By running time it is a
short movie under two hours and with a reasonably fast paced narration. This is
not a film with different treatment but the case is cracked in the backdrop of
a live crime show makes it something different from recent ones. Overall its a
Memories inspired movie that is definitely a watchable movie. And surely a
above average movie for all suspense movie lovers. Some how For suspense genre
movie followers who are frequently watching this genre from Hollywood, Angels
won't make you excited.
The movie with a great
story and narrative way, reasonably decent run at the box office. Surely it
will be an another slow paced superhit on this year.
